there he is.
nuhou yongheng, one of my characters in the textbased onlinegame 'legends of falathron'.
he is the stellar grandgod and the father of the fiendishly clever qìfen (known as ta-thessal) and the younger jingtíyu.
always by his side is his blade 'heiren', an indestructable sword he got from a mortal friend.
nuhou yongheng (i know, it's bad chinese

- the name should mean 'raging immortal', but i have no clue of that language) has been the hugest challenge for me of painting him, because he has a very capricious character. he knows of his powers very well, but mostly he understates his might when he visits the mortals in his ancient homeland.
it has been very difficult to me to choose the colors and the right pose for him, but finally i think, as he is shown now, it is okay.
actually, i wanted to paint him in front of the cosmos, but that looked to clichéd, so i decided to do an empty background to increase the presence of nuhou.
three days of work in photoshop, two brushes used (one selfdefined).
